Climate Change: a matter of national security.

By pinemark

The Pew Charitable Trusts, a nonpartisan research institute, has dedicated an initiative to discovering the links between our security, our energy, and our environment. The Pew Project on National Security, Energy, and Climate just released the below video. It contains interviews from military experts that include an Admiral, Captain, and a former US Senator all discussing the ramifications climate change will have on our national security. Entitled “Climate Patriots”, this video makes one of the most compelling cases to immediately address climate change. Navy Admiral Dennis McGinn, essentially argues everyday in which we do not deal with climate change increases the cost and limits our options for the future.
